Can I route the notes Improvisator outputs to an external Synth / Sympler
This is easily possible in nearly all VST hosts.

Does Improvisator create sound itself?
It does not create sound but it controls any instrument you connect via its MIDI output as for example software / hardware Synthesizers and Samplers. You can also record the calculated chord progressions within your host sequencer.

Can I use Improvisator without sequencer software?
As Improvisator is a VST plugin it can only be run within another host program. But instead you can use the free VstHost to launch Improvisator, route its MIDI Output to other plugins and connect it to your MIDI keyboard.

Can I use Improvisator without a MIDI keyboard?
Of course you can arrange harmonic progressions with Improvisator by clicking the mouse as well.
